Cedar Lanes Bike Park Opening Dayopening day

Cedar Lanes Park - 25th Street SE

Join us as we celebrate Opening Day of the Cedar Lanes Bike Park!  The Bike Park includes 3 skills zones and a dirt, flow track.  Perfect for beginners of all ages and fun for riders of all abilities!

Pedal Power Learn-to-Ride Workshop

Wednesdays, May 23-June 13

Ages 2.5-5

Pedal power! This 4-week workshop will incorporate fun and games to learn to pedal a two-wheeler! Kids will start on balance bikes and work up to pedal bikes, practicing their skills in engaging activities that build confidence and skills. Bikes and helmets are provided.


Pre-school & Youth Camps

Preschool Pedal Power Camp

This camp incorporates fun and games on a two-wheeler! Kids will start on balance bikes and work up to pedal bikes, practicing their skills in engaging activities that build confidence and skills. Arts & crafts and games will mix it up! Bikes and helmets are provided.

Mix & Match Wheel Kids Camp

Let's ride! Little groms will focus on bike safety and riding skills like self-starting, braking and stopping on the trails . Games and challenges keep it exciting as skills develop and riders take a turn on the bike obstacle course! We'll mix it up with some rock climbing and water play. Bikes, helmets and other equipment is provided. Ability to ride a bike is not required.


Teen Programs

Rec Riders

Rec Riders is an after school biking program that teaches basic Mountain Bike skills with emphasis on bike safety, basic ride skills, body position, braking, shifting and progressive Mountain Bike Skills to prepare bikers for trail riding.  Bikes & helmets are provided.  Program will take place at Les Gove Park & Cedar Lanes Bike Park.  Permission slip is required to ride in the Park's van to Cedar Lanes. 

Free with daily admission to the REC Teen Center.  Sign up at the REC.
Thursdays, 3 - 4:30 p.m.
