Our Mission: The Auburn Farmers Market provides a convenient venue for local farmers and artisans to provide access to healthy, fresh, locally sourced food and products to area residents. The Market is a vibrant gathering place where visitors can learn about healthy food choices, and overall health and well-being.
Auburn parks are smoke-free. This includes Les Gove Park where the Farmers Market is held. If the product emits smoke, or vapor, or contains tobacco, it is prohibited in Auburn Parks per Auburn City Code Chapter 2.22 (PDF).
Entertainment Schedule
The Market hosts a variety of weekly entertainment including live music, gardening demonstrations, cooking demos and more! Check out the Farmers Market listings on the Special Events Page for more details on each week.

Volunteer at the Market
Volunteer as a group or individual to help with set-up, operations, or tear-down of the Market. Volunteers assist with Market activities, games, the information booth, and collecting vital data for the Market.
Perfect for students, families, individuals, school groups or scout troops looking for volunteer hours, the Market is in need of volunteers to help every Sunday.

Volunteers are encouraged to attend multiple Markets throughout the season:
- Set-up & Operations from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Operations & Tear-down from 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Our volunteer program does not have the capacity to assist vendors in set-up and tear-down of their booths.

Food Assistance Programs at the Market
EBT and SNAP Market Match
The Auburn Farmers Market only accepts EBT Food Stamps. We are unable to accept EBT Cash.
How to use your EBT food stamps card at the Market:
- Go to the EBT booth
- Swipe your EBT card and redeem your desired amount of EBT dollars in wooden tokens
- Tokens can be spent on EBT eligible products just like you would at the grocery store.
- Eligible products include fruits, vegetables, coffee beans, cheese, meat, honey, and baked goods
- Tokens are matched with SNAP Market Match,
- Match up to $25 per card, per day
- Match can ONLY be spent on fruits and veggies
- Shop for eligible products.
At-Home Activities for Kids
The Auburn Farmers Market will give away 50+ Kid Kits at the information booth monthly. These at-home activities can be fun for kids of all ages.
Kid Kit giveaway dates in 2024 are on the third Sunday of each month. June 16, July 21, August 18, September 15.
