The AIFM partners with Washington State Department of Health to obtain funds for SNAP Market Match. There is a limit of $40 per customer per Market day. This means folks with EBT can take out as much EBT as they want to spend and the AIFM will only be able to match those dollars up to $40. The match is not unlimited.

Beginning May 4, 2020, all parks in Auburn will be smoke-free. This includes Les Gove Park where the Farmers Market is held. If the product emits smoke, or vapor, or contains tobacco, it is prohibited in Auburn Parks per Auburn City Code Chapter 2.22 (PDF).

Each year the Auburn Farmers Market donates nearly 5,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables to the Auburn Food Bank!

Using EBT at the Market

Here's how it works:

  1. Go to the information booth
  2. Swipe your EBT card and redeem your desired amount of EBT dollars in wooden tokens
  3. Shop for eligible products.

The AIFM only accepts EBT Food Stamps. We are unable to accept EBT Cash.
