City Clerk

The City Clerk's Office is a division of the City Attorney's Office. The City Clerk's Office maintains a complete and accurate record of Council proceedings, preserves City records, processes requests for information and claims, prepares City Council agendas and minutes, and serves as a passport acceptance facility.

The following information is available from the City Clerk's Office:

  • Ordinances and Resolutions - Formal written actions of the City Council and laws of the City (ordinances). Statements or courses of action adopted by the City Council, less formal than ordinances and dealing with matters of a special or temporary character (resolutions).
  • Auburn City Code - Available online (not supported in Internet Explorer Browser).
