The City of Auburn Work Crew program was developed as an alternative means to fulfill Court related obligations for eligible participants. If you are authorized by the Court and meet City eligibility requirements, then any hours completed through the Work Crew Program may be applied, per the Court’s order, toward community service requirements, mandatory conditions of a case or in lieu of jail sentences or sanctions.
The City of Auburn Work Crew program provides participants with the opportunity to give back and be part of a team that provides a meaningful service to the local community with a main focus on community clean-up projects and beautification.
Eligible participants perform various outdoor tasks such as removing trash and debris to improve sidewalks and walking trails, and graffiti coverage.
New referrals may be accepted from the Auburn Courthouse.

If your sentence includes a fine, you will usually have the opportunity to perform Community Service instead of paying your fine with money. Please note that all sentencing decisions are at the discretion of the court and should be verified prior to making arrangements. Allowance of Community Service to fulfill any obligations imposed by the Court is at the sole discretion of the Court.
