Look Behind the Scenes at Your City Government
The City of Auburn Civics Academy is a free program where you can learn about City government, meet City staff, and learn ways to get involved in Auburn.
During the Academy, you will learn about:
- How City government works
- How City decisions are made
- How the City uses public funds
- What different City departments do
- Ways to get involved in your community
You do not need any previous experience with City government to participate.
Civics Academy is a non-partisan program provided through the City of Auburn. While the program may include topics regarding political activity in the City, any use of City facilities for the purpose of campaigning for elective office or promoting or opposing ballot propositions is prohibited.
