All are welcome to come and work in a casual, no-pressure environment where you can grab a cup of coffee or tea, work on your projects and chat with other artists! Intermediate Pottery - Tea/Coffee Set Edition (6 Sessions)

photo family pottery classFor students with basic clay experience, this intermediate class offers the chance to create your own drinkware set. Choose from an English Tea Set, Japanese Green Tea Set, or Coffee Pour-Over Set. Forms will be hand built and refined on the pottery's wheel. Explore creative shapes and glaze techniques to craft a functional, personalized ceramic set. Join our vibrant community of pottery enthusiasts and discover the joy of creating beautiful, handmade pottery together!

This is a six-session course occurring on February 26th, March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, and April 2nd.

Screen Print Fundamentals (5 Sessions)

image screen print inksTake a deep dive into analog printmaking and learn the fundamentals of water-based screen printing on paper! Students will get a crash course in screen printing and learn to prepare artwork, to coat and burn screens, to register a print, and learn general printing techniques to produce a cohesive edition. No prior screen printing experience is required, though drawing/design experience is recommended for stencil creation. Optional print trade at the end of the course.

This is a 5-session class, meeting once a week on Wednesdays from 6PM - 7:45PM.

Cookie Decorating - St. Patrick's Day

Turn 5 plain cookies into edible art!

Students will learn to flood, feather, and add texture with royal icing. Instructor Mary Ann Lewandowski is a decorating pro, and will show you how to create incredibly detailed cookie art step-by-step. These aren't ordinary frosted cookies--they're one of a kind!

Class price includes a personal cookie decorating kit, packaged in a decorative display box for your cookies when you're finished. Kit includes:

5 delicious sugar cookies (3.5"–4")
Multiple bags of pre-colored royal icing
A scribe tool (yours to keep)
A sample photo for reference
Step-by-step guided instructions
Fun door prizes!

Class is suitable for ages 8+. Minors need to be accompanied by an adult. Ticket purchase is required to receive a decorating kit. If accompanying a minor, there is no need to purchase an additional ticket unless you want to participate!

Collaborative Art with Larine Chung

Inspired by the beauty of both Chinese and Western musical traditions, families will be encouraged to paint along with the music, responding intuitively to rhythm, harmony, and sound. Participants will help create three, large-scale canvases themed around spring and personal connections. 

This event is family friendly, and no previous art experience is required. All supplies will be provided.

Acrylic 101 (2 Sessions)

image: person painting a canvas with a paintbrushOver two sessions on April 3rd and 10th, we cover all the basic foundational elements of creating a painting from value studies (dark and light) to basic color theory, to breaking apart a photo into basic shapes and learning to transfer those shapes (using a grid) onto a canvas. We then use our prior lessons to inform us as we paint our masterpieces! Materials are provided.

This class is two sessions, on April 3rd and 10th.

Beginning Guitar for Adults (4 Sessions)

In this class we welcome all stages of adult beginning guitar players. Learn basic chords, easy songs, a little bit of music theory, all in an inclusive and comfortable environment.

We will learn the basics of rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and a bit of how to play and sing! The skills you will learn can be translated to many different genres!

This class will meet 4 times during the month of April, on Fridays: April 3, 10, 17, and 24.

Bookbinding and More

image: hand stitched book spineLearn the basics of bookbinding with Lisa Hasegawa. Topics covered will include tools, paper, and terminology. Students will be introduced to the pamphlet stitch, one of the easiest and most commonly used binding styles. In three projects you will learn various tips and tricks such as how to measure accurately without a ruler and how to perfectly center a spine. Beginning with a simple needle, each project will improve on skills learned, integrating new techniques.

All materials provided (you can bring bookbinding tools if you have them).

Print Studio Open House


Join us for an interactive afternoon of printmaking demos, studio tours, snacks, and giveaways to celebrate the opening of our new print studio!

Our newly renovated lower-level art studios have added around 2,000 square feet of dedicated artmaking space.  

Beginning April 1, 2026 artists will be able to enroll in a monthly studio membership and work on their personal projects in our brand new studio space! Stop by the open house to learn more.

This event is family friendly, and no previous art experience is required.

Jump into Screen Print: Birthday Cards

Learn to screen print in a day! Make birthday cards for your friends and family! This beginner-friendly course will teach students the basics of printing with a screen and a squeegee without the stress of needing to know how to draw or how to prepare screens. Students can choose from pre-drawn, ready-to-print screens with a variety of birthday text and imagery and simply get down to the fun part—printing! Students will leave this one-evening class with a set of 6 hand printed cards on heavyweight cardstock, ready to be mailed and gifted to loved ones. No prior screen printing or art experience required.

Playing with Type: Experimental Letterpress

Students will get an introduction to letterpress printing and spend the day experimenting with wood type and ways to make letters from handmade materials. This workshop is intended to be an accessible introduction to the world of letterpress. Don’t know what that is? No problem! We’re here to answer questions, educate, and most of all, have fun!

Etching for Beginners

image: person preparing an etching plateChannel your inner Rembrandt and learn the 400 year old art of copper plate etching in a two day intensive printmaking workshop. In this class we will learn to prepare the plate, enscribe a drawing onto it, etch it in a low toxicity ferric chloride solution, and then print the plate onto paper using an etching press. Plates, paper and ink will be provided as part of the class.

This is a two session class, taking place on April 22 4PM-8PM and April 23 4PM-8PM.
