The Restricted Parking Zone (RPZ) Program allows the City to reserve on-street parking for the exclusive use of abutting properties in a specific area, and their visitors. An RPZ can also reserve on-street parking during certain posted hours, allowing unrestricted parking at other times. Please note that a permit does not guarantee that an on-street parking space will always be available.

Current RPZ are located in the Lea Hill Village neighborhood near Green River College, in the West Main Street neighborhood near the Auburn Transit Center, and on D St near West Auburn Senior High School; see maps below.

Owners of residential properties located in an RPZ are eligible for one parking permit per vehicle registered to their address (up to a maximum of three permits), plus one guest permit. These permits are provided free of charge.

West Main Street neighborhood: RPZ (green) – residents adjacent to this area may apply for a permit.
 
Lea Hill Village neighborhood: RPZ (green) – residents of Lea Hill Village neighborhood may apply for a permit. 
Red: “No Parking” anytime areas.

 
D St NW between West Main St and 3rd St NW: RPZ (green) – residents adjacent to this area may apply for a permit.
