BANQUET FACILITY – EXTENDED HOURS OF OPERATION

The City of Auburn is issuing a Notice of Application (NOA) for the following described project. The permit applications and listed studies may be reviewed at the Auburn Department of Community Development at One E Main St., 2nd Floor, Customer Service Center, Auburn, WA 98001 and by visiting www.auburnwa.gov/landuse.
Proposal: The applicant proposes changing the use of an existing 7,079 square foot Chinese restaurant into an Event Center/Banquet Facility in the Light Commercial District (C-1) zone. The building abuts a residential zone to the east. Commercial uses abutting a residential zone which has hours of operation outside of the following: Sunday 9:00 am to 10:00 pm or Monday-Sunday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm requires an Administrative Use permit (Type II) and public noticing.
The applicant proposes the following hours of operations:
- Weekday and weekend hours 10:00 AM– 2:00 AM, last patrons leaving premises by 1:30 AM / staff cleanup inside 1:30 AM – 2:00 AM with staff leaving between 2:00 AM – 8:00 AM.
- No on-site activity between 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM.
- Event deliveries 10:00 AM – midnight.
Location: The site is located at 714 Auburn Way North, approximately 260 feet northeast of the intersection of 7th St NE and Auburn Way N, King Co. Parcel No. 1821059222.
