The City of Auburn is issuing a Notice of Application (NOA) and for the following described project. The project application and listed studies may be reviewed at the Auburn Department of Community Development at One E Main St., 2nd Floor, Customer Service Center, Auburn, WA 98001 and by visiting www.auburnwa.gov/landuse.

Proposal: Preliminary plat application to subdivide approximately 4.30 acres into 20 single-family residential lots. The site is zoned R-5, Residential which allows 4-5 dwelling units per acre. The proposed lots range in size from 4,632 square feet to 7,510 square feet. Roadways to be constructed include “Road A" which extends east 504 feet from the residential collector street 56th Ave. S to form a cul-de-sac. The project site includes four private tracts, Tracts A and B offer stormwater detention ponds, Tract C establishes a critical area tract containing steep slopes to the Southeast corner of the site. Tract D is an access tract providing access to parcels 10, 12,13, and 14. 

Location: The project site is located at 31620 56th Ave S, Auburn WA, 98001 King Co. Assessor Parcel No. 9262800015. Quarter-Section-Township-Range SW-11-21-4.

Comments must be in writing and received by the end of the 15-day comment period at March 12, 2024 to the mailing address of 25 W Main St., Auburn, WA, 98001 or to the contact email address below. Any person wishing to become a party of record, shall include in their comments that they wish to receive notice of and participate in any hearings, if relevant, request a copy of decisions once made, and be made aware of appeal rights.
