The City of Auburn is issuing a Notice of Application (NOA) for the following described project. The permit applications and listed studies may be reviewed at the Auburn Department of Community Development at One E Main St., 2nd Floor, Customer Service Center, Auburn, WA 98001 and by visiting www.auburnwa.gov/landuse.
Proposal: Remodel of an existing detached garage to include an expansion of the high-bay area. The current ridge height of the existing garage exceeds the allowable height limit per current zoning regulations. The Administrative Variance to building height will bring the existing portion of the garage that is over the height limit into compliance and allow an expansion of the garage high-bay area and height (50% of the quantifiable standard of 16 feet) increased to 24 feet.
Location: The site is located approximately 585 feet northwest of the intersection of 118th Ave SE and SE 302nd St, addressed as 11610 SE 302nd St, King Co. Parcel No. 7867000009.
