The City of Auburn is issuing a Notice of Public Hearing for the following described project. The project application may be reviewed at the Auburn Department of Community Development at 1 E Main St., 2nd Floor, Customer Service Center, Auburn, WA 98001 and by visiting www.auburnwa.gov/landuse.
Proposal: Work is on City of Kent property in an easement granted to Lake Meridian Water District. Work includes construction of a 747 square foot concrete masonry unit (CMU) building to house the District’s control valves, booster pumps, and electrical equipment. HVAC will be included in the building to offset heat output from equipment and provide freeze protection. Work on the site includes paving, grading, on site storm, onsite utilities, a keystone retaining wall, and installation of engine generator and propane fuel storage to provide backup power to the site. Along Tract G-SE 286th PL, work includes electrical and gas extensions and extensions of existing water mains to create a new higher-pressure zone.
Location: The project site is located approximately 470 feet southeast of the intersection of 124th Ave SE and SE 286th PL in the City of Auburn, WA, in the SE Qtr. Section 33, Township 22, Range 05, W.M. King County Parcel No. 3322059177.

Please note mailed comments may not be received by City Staff on time for inclusion in the packet provided to the Hearing Examiner. Any person wishing to become a party of record, shall include in their comments that they wish to receive notice of and participate in any hearings, if relevant, and request a copy of decisions once made.
