NOTICE OF APPLICATION (NOA) and
DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE (DNS)
Auburn Townhomes Contract Rezone Amendment
File No. SEP21-0024/REZ21-0001
The City of Auburn is issuing a Notice of Application (NOA) and Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) for the following described project. The project application materials and listed studies may be reviewed at the Auburn Department of Community Development at 1 E Main St., 2nd Floor, Customer Service Center, Auburn, WA 98001.
Proposal: Request to amend contract rezone (Ordinance 4456) of approx. 7.7 acres (four parcels) of C-3 zoned properties to include Live/Work as a permitted use. Live/Work is not included as a permitted use in the contract rezone adopted in 1990, however current city code does permit Live/Work in C-3 zones per Section 18.23.030. There is no development proposal associated with this request. However, the applicant is proposing development on King Co. Parcel No. 000080-0053 which is currently vacant. The above stipulations would be memorialized through an amended contract rezone, which would apply to all four properties.
Location: The site is generally located on the north side of 16th St. NW between ‘A’ St. NW and ‘B’ St. NW. King Co. Parcel Nos. 000080-0049, 000080-0053 000080-0048, and 000080-0047.
