Spring Trips Are Now Open for Registration!

  • Family Horseback Ride - Join us on this scenic trail ride through the hills of Cle Elum.  We'll check in at the Flying Horseshoe Ranch where we'll learn to saddle our own horse and some basic horse care before heading into the ring for a lesson.  Then, it's off to the trails!  This is the perfect ride for the beginning rider, but still a great time for those more experienced.  Please bring a sack lunch.  Saturday, June 8.  10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Ages 7 and up.  $55/$69.


Camps

Biking

Auburn Parks Outdoor Adventures offers seasonal biking trips for a variety of skill levels.  From paved, urban trails to single track dirt mountain bike trails, there is an opportunity for a range of skill levels and interests.  family mt biking

Yelm Tenino Family Ride - Hop on your bike for this 14 mile Bike Adventure! We'll bike through the rural towns of Yelm, Rainier and Tenino with views of farm land, rolling hills and forests. Look out for wildlife and enjoy a relaxing day of biking! We'll provide the bikes and helmets; you'll just need comfortable shoes and clothing for biking, a sack lunch and a water bottle. Saturday, May 11, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM.  Ages 10 and up.  $28/$35.

Ruston Way Family Ride - There's no better way to enjoy fall than biking on the Tacoma waterfront! Enjoy this flat paved trail as it winds along the shores of the Puget Sound. Keep an eye out for eagles, seals, and Osprey. You'll reach the end of the line at Point Ruston where you can relax with an ice cream and beach comb. We'll provide the bikes and helmets; you'll just need comfortable shoes and clothing for biking, a sack lunch, sunscreen and a water bottle.  teen rec ridersSaturday, September 14, 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM.  Ages 10 and up.  $28/$35.

REC Riders - REC Riders is a teen only comprehensive mountain biking program incorporating leadership, volunteer opportunities, biking skills, bike maintenance and trail rides.  It is operated out of the REC Teen Center.  All equipment, instruction and mentoring are included in the program.  Visit the REC Teen Center to learn more.
